Raw 11-2

Tonight we ride a Crazy Train with Ozzy Osbourne. I have been reading reports the WWE is going to have quite a few Ozzy segments. I don't think that is a good idea. I loved the new feud with Kofi and Orton. DX and Cena are going to contend for the WWE title at Survivor Series. I said last week we should have some fun tv with DX going against each other. The start of the FWF is also this evening. You can follow everything right here on BBSD. The best damn WWE blogger on the internet goes for the 23rd straight week.

No music or pyro but Ozzy in the middle of the ring in a sweet kings throne along with his wife Sharon. Ozzy is being very animated. I forgot Ozzy was part of Wrestlemania 2 and also a Smackdown show concert. Miz comes out to introduce himself to the Prince of Darkness. Miz has a nice promo asking Ozzy to take away the loss last week against Evan. I am alittle shocked Legacy shows up together for this in ring promo. Legacy goes on to talk about the nascar they, well Teddy, bought Orton which was destroyed by Kofi. Holy crap now the Big Show. This is a sweet heel beginning to Raw. Big Show is in a very happy mood. Actually he looks like a guy who hasn't been laid in a while. Show complains about his beatdown last week. Now some face time for DX. Well I said it was going to be a crazy train with Ozzy. The first segment is no different. DX calls the 4 of them ratings killers. Ozzy is here to promote a new book and DX promote it and their book. Good ole cheap plugs. Ozzy makes the match with Miz and Evan for the US title. I love that because I really enjoy Evan. I have been complaining about the WWE and the lack of direction with Evan. Sharon makes Kofi vs Orton. The main event is made with Cena vs Y2J vs Show. I love all three matches. A great Raw is in store for us tonight. Ozzy and DX pose before the break. The first segment is exactly what Raw is suppose to do. Set us up for a few matches, clear the air from last week and continue storylines. Awesome start for Raw. If you can't tell I enjoy Ozzy and Sharon as well.

United States Champion Miz vs Evan Bourne. Here is where we are going to see if Evan really will be pushing by the WWE. Evan has some very unique offense. I think that is why I like him so much. Evan isn't as big as RVD but his offense reminds me of that. Evan gets a few good moves in and near falls. In the end he misses the beautiful Shooting Star Press and Miz hits his finisher for the win. I guess Evan won't be getting a huge push. As long as the WWE keeps Evan in the mix for the US title, Im ok with that. The Miz shouldn't be losing his title yet anyway. I would like to see Swagger Miz Evan at Survivor Series. The great thing about Kofi's push is another guy gets to step up like Evan.

Sheamus vs Jaime Noble. Didn't we see this last week? As I said last week, the crowd will only give a crap about Sheamus once he is in a real feud. A complete squash match. Nothing important here. Sheamus wins again. So long Jaime Noble. Best wishes in your wrestling future.

Semi main event time. Who would have thought Randy Orton in the semi main event? Heres the thing about this feud. One I love both wrestlers. More importantly this feud actually helps both men. Randy needed a new face to feud with. We have seen him against DX and Cena. Kofi gets a huge push against the best heel on Raw. I just hope this has the makings of a long feud and helps elevate both men. Orton had a different angrier walk to the ring tonight. The other thing the WWE did a great job of pushing Kofi is because the crowd is behind him. Kofi chants during the match. Orton gets help with Legacy to the ring. Ozzy and Sharon make it a 6 man tag with Henry MVP Kofi vs Legacy. Raw shows off the young Raw talent they have tonight. The heels do some nice double team moves and isolate MVP. The question isn't who but really when will both members of Legacy get their singles push? Rhodes and Dibiase should feud with each other. Who would be the face? I like Rhodes more as a heel so Dibiase should be the face. The WWE could have even more fun adding the fathers into the mix. MVP finally gets the hot tag to Henry. Rhodes gets pinned by Henry. I don't get why the heels lose yet again. Legacy got beat by Henry and MVP last week. Legacy was made to look strong when they faced DX. Now it seems all is forgotten and back down they go. Meanwhile Kofi and Orton never touched each other to make sure the feud continues.

Time waster of the night with Ozzy and Sharon host Raws got Talent. The Great Kahli comes out of hibernation to host this event. Kahli has a suit on but I have to wonder where the hell he went for his suit. The Big and Tall store wouldn't fit him. Of course Santino had to be part of this and dressed up as Ozzy. Crowd is getting bored already and so is this blogger. Masters was the 2nd contest and he actually got the crowd laughing. Masters was hilarious. Chavo and Jillian finish up the contest. Yes they sucked. Sharon knocked the hell out of Jillian and Kahli knocks out Chavo. Ok even I laughed when Hornswaggle showed up with an afro wig on dressed as Jack. Lets move on with Raw.

I guess now would be a great time for a cheap plug of my own. With the FWF starting and the WWE rolling into Survivor Series. You need to hear more on the WWE then check out Showstoppers this week. We will have a recap of the FWF and segment 2 will be John, Larry and I's list of top ten catchphrases of all time. WOOOO!

Chick or Diva Battle Royal for the number 1 contender spot for Melina's title. Last three are Alicia, Kelly and Eve. Alicia wins and will face Melina. Larry made a great move in the FWF draft picking Melina. There isn't a woman on the Raw roster that is going to take the title off Melina. Alicia was pushed once for the title against Mickie and lost. Good pick Larry.

A recap of Batista and Rey new feud. I have already said how much I am going to enjoy this feud. I love how the crowd gets behind lil Rey. Rey is one of the biggest stars in the WWE. He needed a new feud with a man he respects. I read a report how Batista did an interview talking about how the WWE wastes the talents of Rey. No better way to showcase the talent of Rey than putting him in a feud with a guy who loves him.

Jericho with the Osbournes in the back. Chris tells Ozzy how much he wanted to be like him. I realize it is a promo and Jericho turned into the heel. I bet Jericho was telling the truth before he finished. Chris wanted to be a great rock star.

Cena and DX in the back was great as well. They talk about beating each other. Yeah it comes out wrong and the Bella twins over hear Cena say that they all beat each other. Comical promo but this is the calm before the storm. I am guessing next week will start to get a little more real in this feud.

Am I the only person that thinks Black Taco is the dirtiest sex act ever? I mean I have seen the Taco Bell commercial 200 times and I think that every time.

Main event time. Cena vs Jericho vs Show
If you listened to the special Showstoppers with the FWF draft. You would have heard I took Cena with the 1st overall pick. Now Larry said it was a great pick but he also said he believes HHH will win the title soon. Why? Cena is in for a long push with the WWE title. DX is going to turn on each other and have a match together at mania. JeriShow work together to beat the crap out of Cena. Things start to breakdown for the heels. Show tosses Jericho out. Show knocks out Cena with a weak right hand to pick up the victory. JeriShow end up the victors tonight. DX got in the ring and Show ko'd HBK followed up with a Codebreaker to HHH. I love the heels leaving Raw tonight on top. Jericho and Show have to look like real contenders.

Next week another boxer hosts Raw. I bet Cena and DX will gain the momentum back. I really hope that DX and Cena will square off once before Survivor Series. I would expect the WWE will not spoil to much with DX and Cena before the ppv. I don't feel to great about my FWF team since I am down -10 points after Raw. A long season awaits us in the Fantasy Wrestling Federation. Be sure to get all the last on the FWF and the WWE on Showstoppers. The highlight will be me as always. Also if you want some sports, check out my Iowa Hawkeye blog. Just keep scrolling down to check it out. Lastly, I will have one more blog for you on Thursday morning. I am teaming up with a buddy of mine in Iowa for an NBA preview type blog. Three blogs in one week, just another reason why I'm the best damn blogger on the internet.

Something Special in Iowa

I know this may not happen and I could be jinxing it right now as I type this up. I believe something special is happening in Iowa City. I went over to the Iowa Hawkeye game this past Saturday to see the Iowa Indiana football game. I know the Hawkeyes are not the media darlings like USC or Florida. I know the Big 10 isn't the most competitive conference. Although when teams are put in front of you, the job is to beat them and that is what Iowa keeps doing.

The first thought I had after this game was Stanzi sucks. He played horrible and nearly gave Indiana the ball game. Every quarterback has bad games, look at Kurt Warner and Jake Delhomme. Ricky had 5 interceptions and I fault him for all of them. I sat in the front row in the north end zone for the contest. I saw two of the picks right in front of me. Both of those throws were well under thrown and the wide receiver had no shot to make a play. In fact on one ball the WR gave up. Stanzi's throwing motion doesn't seem to me that he steps up and launches the ball. Instead, he lofts it and gives the defense time to get under it and make a play. However, in the 2nd half Stanzi got the ball out quickly and let his play makers do the work. I was begging to my two friends next to me, Iowa should try more screens and quick hits on the sidelines. I say that because Iowa's wide outs and running backs can make plays. They need the ball to do that. Stanzi rallied the team and delivered 28 points in the 4th quarter. For everything bad Stanzi did, he still got the win. On a small side note, you know the QB is having a bad day when my friend Todd said maybe someone should get a Iowa Hawkeye license plate that said StnzSux.

I have to mention the Hawkeye defense because they are the ones who saved the game in the first half. The defense was on the field quite a bit since the offense wasn't doing anything except give it back to Indiana. The d-line did struggle for the most part at putting pressure on the quarterback. The only time they got pressure was when the defensive tackle blew up the middle. He may have done that 5 times the whole game. The biggest play of the game came on a play when he busted through. The Hoosiers were driving towards a 28-7 lead and the stadium was on mute. Chappell dropped back and was blitzed by the outside linebacker. The ball bounced off three people and wound up in the hands of Tyler Sash. He took it back to the house for a game changing play. The pick 6 happened on the other side of the field and from our vantage point, we never saw the play. I had no clue how Sash ended up with the ball but he scored right in front of us. The crowd went from being at a funeral to we have a chance to win this game again. Once Sash got in the end zone, I turned to Brady and told him this is what good teams do. He replied by saying Iowa has been doing it all season.

Speaking of the atmosphere, this was my first time at Kinnick Stadium. I had a blast and would be happy to go back anytime. The atmosphere was fantastic, people were friendly and the stadium is really loud. The only bad thing was Indiana's band was in our end zone and never shut up. I am not saying Kinnick is a state of the art stadium or anything. I am saying it is a great place to go watch a game and walk around tailgating.

The media may not love the Hawkeyes. I saw the polls have them behind several other undefeated teams and even an Oregon team that has one loss. However you must give credit where it is due. You start searching the "mainstream" media sites and you will find several blogs on why Iowa is not that good. I look at it as Iowa is doing what they are suppose to do. Iowa has beat everyone in front of them. If you go back and watch the highlights of the Iowa season, you will notice a pattern. The pick 6 against Indiana saved the season. Iowa had to block two field goals to beat University of Northern Iowa in the very first game of the season. Good teams step up when it counts and Iowa has been doing that. I hear the Hawks aren't better than Florida, Alabama or even Texas. How do you know? If Iowa runs the table, they will go to the Rose Bowl. I can not see a scenario where if Iowa goes undefeated, they end up in the BCS title game. The same could be said for Boise State, TCU and Cincinnati. I hope we have 5 or 6 undefeated teams at the end of the season. I believe that is the only way the BCS will change. For now, this is the crap college football fans have to deal with. As a fellow Iowan, I will be rooting for the Hawkeyes and enjoy their special season.

Raw 10-26

The WWE did a great job last week on Raw. Then Smackdown came along and the WWE decided it needed to change up the entire pay per view brand match and it made no sense. Yes Smackdowns roster looked weak by comparision but when you change one of the main events 2 days before the pay per view, why am I going to care about the match? Well I didn't but the WWE faked me out. I know you are shocked that I, the greatest WWE blogger on the internet, was faked out by the WWE. Good job by them to switch it up and have Smackdown win the big brand main event. Il have more on the pay per view later. Tonight Raw is hosted by 2 guys I could careless about. Although most of American believes all wrestling fans love nascar as well, I am not one of them. I want to see the focus on the wrestling and what is in store heading into the last big pay per view of the year Survivor Series. Lights camera GO!

We get a video package showing the Big Show turning on team Raw. Big Show knocked out HHH and Y2J pinned Kofi. Raw starts off with JeriShow coming out to brag about Bragging Rights. Jericho is holding a huge trophy given to Smackdown that wasn't announced until the pay per view. Show says he is still a proud member of the Raw roster. Jericho stops him and tells him he doesn't have to explain himself. Jericho says Show did it because he was loyal to JeriShow. Show tries to tell Jericho something but Chris keeps ranting. Show says he did what he did last night because of Show. Show can be on both shows he talked to Teddy Long and got a World Heavyweight title match against the Undertaker. I love it. Show should be showcased on both shows and since he isn't used correctly on Raw, it makes sense to have him used on Smackdown. The Nascar guys are shown in the back spinning cookies and they drive 2 cars into the arena and get in the ring with JeriShow. They say they are happy to host Raw tonight. Kyle applauds what Show did and Joey cant approve what Show did. Kyle and Joey are ripping on each other. Kyle makes fun of the fans of Buffalo. Joey makes the match Show vs the Game HHH. Kyle makes Jericho vs Kofi John er Kingston, guy screws up his name. Awesome. God I love the Celebrity GMs.

Kofi heads to the ring as Raw goes to break. Jericho is on the outside pacing around the ring before getting back in with Kofi. Jericho starts to gain control and Kofi counters in the corner with a boot and follows it up with a dropkick for 2. Kofi with a rollup for 2. A big knee by Y2J turns the tide back to the heel. Leaping elbow by Kofi and Jericho rolls to the outside. Suicide dive to the floor on Jericho by Kofi. Kofi didn't land to well but it was affective. Jericho lands his "classic" dropkick to Kingston on the apron as Raw heads to another break. Raw comes back with Jericho dishing out the punishment. Fans get behind Kofi to try and rally the young man. The two competitors exchange some right hands. Kofi gains some control with a reversal to Jericho's bulldog. Boom Boom elbow or Boomdrop. A walls of Jericho try is reversed but Jericho hits a running enzigure for 2. Kofi climbs to the top rope. Jericho tries to stop him but Kofi hits a crossbody. Chris rolls through for a 2 count. Kofi goes for Trouble in Paradise again Jericho counters. Codebreaker by Y2J for a 2 count because Kofi gets his foot on the rope. Jericho complains and turns around to eat Kofi's boot for a 3 count. A great opening match by 2 great wrestlers. Kofi celebrates up the ramp, Orton out of nowhere tosses Kofi off the stage. Randy with a sick look on his face as we go to commercial.

Batista's heel turn is shown for a Smackdown promo. If you listened to Showstoppers, you would have heard me call this heel turn quite a while ago. I felt Batista's character needed a change and the WWE must have felt the same way. Rey and Batista will have a very good time in this feud. Both guys have a lot of respect for each other. The feud will help Smackdown out considerably.

Josh interviews Orton in the back. Randy says he attacked Kofi because he got involved in the Iron man match last night with John Cena. Legacy shows up and says they have a gift for Randy. They unvail a nascar designed with Orton on the hood. The car is incredible. They say they have another gift involving John Cena and the WWE title.

Swagger is with the 2 nascar guys in the back. Swagger asks for Cena for the WWE title. The nascar guys say they get to pick Cena's next opponent. Miz shows up and gloats about being the only Raw competitor who won last night. Santino is with Melina heading to the ring. Mixed tag match is next. Before the mixed tag match, I have to say I love absolutely love the fact that Orton is going in a new direction. Kofi is a guy who should be pushed and this has the makings of a great feud.

A Sheamus promo video is shown. He is heading to Raw tonight. Sheamus has been on ECW and has been turning heads over there. Another young guy getting a push from the WWE. Melina and Santino come out together. Santino acts as if he was going to try the split entrance but decides not too. Their opponents are Chavo and Jillian. Santino and Chavo start us off. Santino with a few rights and a back body drop. Chavo gets in a few shots and gets Santino in the corner. Cheap plug here but if you want to hear more about the WWE Diva's tune into to ShowStoppers this week. Larry John and I tell you who our top 10 hottest Divas ever are. Hornswaggle shows up and Melina and Santino pick up the win. A dude in a suit shows up to give letter to Hornswaggle. He runs over to Lawler and gives him the letter. The letter is from DX to cease and desist order to stop wearing the DX gear. Oh great a new storyline for Hornswaggle just what Raw needed.

Justin Roberts announces the new WWE champion John Cena. Legacy comes out instead. Cody is on the mic and says the Legacy is here. Teddy says just because Orton can't take on Cena doesn't mean they can't. Legacy makes a challenge to Cena. He can take on Teddy or Cody or both. The 7 time world champion John Cena makes his way down to the ring. The crowd is pretty hot for him right now. Cena says he doesn't have to brag about last night. Cena says he was physically and emotionally drained last night. Cena said they both did it for the WWE title, all the fans and most importantly because the rivalry needed to end. You got that right Cena. I was tired of seeing Cena Orton. Cena says he has had enough of Legacy. If they want a shot for the WWE title Legacy needs to work for it. Cena says he talked to the GM's and they made a match for Legacy against MVP and Henry. This match will take place right after the break.

Teddy and MVP are in the ring now with a tag to Cody. A little double team action and Legacy is in full control. MVP with a huge clothesline to switch the match around. Hot tag to the Kool Aid man and Cody is getting pummeled. Chop block, WOOO, by Dibiase and the heels start the quick tags. Huge double dropkick for a 2 count. Rhodes in right now with Henry. Another hot tag to MVP. Ballin elbow for 2 as Rhodes saves the contest. Henry with a big headbutt. Dibiase is in the ring, MVP goes to roll him up. Henry with a clothesline and the faces win. Legacy stay in the ring and Orton comes down to the ring. Randy says the GM's are searching for the next opponent for Cena. He starts to screaming about how he doesn't care about the stipulation. He deserves a rematch. Kofi interupts and is standing on top of the new car Orton was given early. Kofi starts to destroy with a key. He grabs a huge hook and beats the crap out of it. A bucket of paint finishes job. Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston is going to be a great new fresh feud for Raw. The character development of Kofi tonight will go along way with the fans.

Eve Torres is in the ring as a guest announcer. Evan Bourne takes on the Miz. I sure hope Evan wins this match but he won't. Miz takes the early advantage in the contest. Miz seems to be getting a giant push on Raw. I am fine with that but again Evan is not a jobber or in my opinion shouldn't be. Miz trying to get Evan to tap out. Evan hits a double knee leap for a 1 count. A hurricarana with a 2 count. Swagger comes to ringside during the match. Miz is beating the hell out of Evan in the corner. Swagger gets on the mic saying no one is watching the match. Everyone is watching Eve looking at Swagger. Evan leaps over the top to both guys. Miz has been counted out and Evan picks up the victory. Will this lead to Bourne getting a semi push towards the US title? I can only hope.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne will host Raw next week. Well I am glad my tv has closed captioning since I won't be able to understand a word he says. Sheamus takes on Jaime Noble. Sheamus grabs a mic and says he is here to make an impression. Dude your white as a ghost you already have made an impression. The Celtic Warrior has Noble up in a backbreaking type manuever. Noble tries to build some offense but is slowed. Crowd is not into this at all. Sheamus is destroying him so far. Crowd will care about Sheamus when he gets into an actual feud. Sheamus hits a huge kick and picks up the victory. I have a feeling the WWE moved this guy to get some direction.

Big Show is in the ring with Jericho getting prepared for HHH. We dont get the classic HHH entrance but the DX intro instead. HBK will be at ringside for his partner. Bell is rung and the main event starts. HHH grabs the mic and says he had a meeting with the GM's and this match is now a lumberjack match. The lumberjacks are the entire Raw roster. Jericho heads out the back door lol. HBK says this is a no DQ lumberjack match which means the lumberjacks can do what they want. Shawn says there is no need for a ref because there is a guest ref, John Cena. Big Show charges after HHH but goes over the top rope as Raw heads to the final break. Sleeper hold on Show. Show flips HHH over to get out. HHH tries to slam Show but fails and Show gets a 2 count. Show hits a huge spear. Show mocks the lumberjacks as Show stands on HHH. Frying pan chops in the corner now. HHH gets caught in a sidewalk slam. Show goes to cover and Cena actually counts to 2. The WWE is doing it right tonight. Show is looking good and should if he is going to be taken as a legit contender to Takers title. A few headbutts light up the Game. Masters gets involved and Show lands a knockout punch. HHH counters a chokeslam with a DDT. Show throws HHH off of him for a 2 count. HHH goes for the pedigree but Show body drops HHH. Show climbs to the 2nd rope and its a splash. Cena counts to 2 and stops. Cena and Show get face to face. The Raw roster comes in and starts whaling away on Show. Cena ends up hitting an FU. HBK hits SCM and then the pedigree for the win. The nascar GMs come out to announce Cena's next opponent with DX and Cena in the ring. Kyle and Joey say they couldnt agree but one man helped make the decision. Hornswaggle comes out and the GMs announce it will be Cena vs HHH vs HBK at Survivor Series. I pretty much expected that when Cena and DX were left in the ring. Three of the biggest names on Raw headlining the 4th biggest pay per view in the year. The decision to make DX opponents should make for some entertaining television for the next few months.

I have to talk about one more thing before I head out for this week. I am deeply saddened to hear the news that Jim Ross had another bell's palsy episode. As most of you know, I have the utmost respect for good ole JR. He is my idol and mentor. I hope he gets better soon and returns to the Smackdown announcers table. No one can replace the man in the cowboy hat. My thoughts and prayers go out to the greatest wrestling announcer ever.

Memo to NFL Fans

I have been reading several message boards on different websites and I have gone to realize several things. For one thing, some fans are just plain idiots. I have to admit this is the main reason I am writing this blog. I have a huge beef with the GO PACK GO fans first.

Memo to Packer fan: I have heard the complaints about Aaron Rodgers. Why are you complaining about a guy who is ranked 5th in QB Rating? Aaron Rodgers is a solid starter and at his age, 25, he has a lot of potential and can only get better. I heard Aaron on a radio show talking about how he has made mistakes like holding on to the ball to long. He also said the offensive line needs to step it up. Aaron said all the right things during the interview. He is trying to improve and has a great work ethic. I love that out of a quarterback. I tell you what I am an Oakland Raiders fan, I will offer Russell Bussell for Aaron Rodgers. A straight up trade a guy who has no work ethic and is bigger than some offensive linemen for a guy who is working hard trying to improve week after week and has a QB rating doubled of Russell. Oh what was that? You don't want to do that. Good idea, now shut up and be happy you have Rodgers. He is no Favre but he's a young talented QB.

Memo to Bronco fan: I have read all the boards talking about how no one believed in you. I can not argue with that. I certainly didn't and you could read my AFC blog to prove it. Here is the thing, no one believed in you but do you really think you are going to win the Super Bowl with Kyle Orton as your quarterback. I get it he can be a "game manager" but he can not win games. You have a nice defense mostly because Denver hired Mike Nolan who has taken scrubs on the line and turned them into all stars. I even read some boards talking about who you will play against in the Super Bowl. I have the answer: nobody because you will be at home. Be happy that you are winning games because in the beginning of the year you didn't even want your coach.

Memo to Charger fan: You must fire Norv Turner in a hurry. San Diego is a great team with a franchise QB but the pieces around him are starting fall off a bit. LDT is certainly on his last legs as a number 1 running back. You still have Vincent Jackson, Gates and Darren Sproles to help carry the offense. The defense has playmakers but again Merriman has not been the same without his roid rage. This is a win now type of team with a never can win coach. Norv is a great offensive coordinator, he just can not lead a team to the Super Bowl. Maybe Norv and Wade Phillips can combine to make a great head coach together. For now, get ready for another disappointing season.

Memo to Redskin and Raider fan: There isn't a lot I can say here. The positives are outweighed by the negative nearly 3 to 1. Jim Zorn is a horse with a broken leg at this point. I actually feel bad for him. Snyder and Al Davis are 2 of the worst owners in the NFL, to bad neither of them believe that. Synder will do what he always does at the end of the season. He will go out and try and hire a big named coach to help out his team. In the end, he will find that no one will want the job. Who has left there better than they were going in? Synder will then have to turn towards exactly where Crazy Al does for head coaches, the 99 cent store. Tom the Cable guy is in a lose lose situation. Tom has a chance to... I was going to finish that but I can't. No hope on the horizon for either franchise.

Memo to Titans fan: So your head coach came out at a CHARITY event and wore a Peyton Manning jersey. When you are turning towards Vince Young, there is little hope. My advice is to pack it in this season and try again next year. If you want a new head coach, I can relate to that. Jeff Fisher has been in Tennessee for a long time and maybe it is time for a change. The old saying is 'be careful what you wish for' and I think it holds true in this situation. If you fire Fisher and bring in someone knew he needs a new QB, a new leader on the defensive side of the ball and patience from the fans. The best place for Fisher is San Diego, as long as Gruden doesn't get hired there first.

Memo to Bucs fan: I bet you would like to have Chucky back now.

Memo to Jets fan: How many fans have jumped off your bandwaggon in the past week? I believe the total is up to 2.5 million. The Sanchise is playing like a rookie. High hopes means a big letdown. Mark has a ton of potential but lets not crown him King Tut yet ESPN. I love Rex Ryan and the fire he brings. Settle down and just give it some time. For now can we just go back to calling him Sanchez?

Memo to all NFL fans: It is Week 7 damn it! Please no Super Bowl predictions. I think it is ok to do before the season just to see how close you come. Now though is just stupid. You sound like a complete homer. I realize it is exciting to see the Saints, Broncos, Colts and Vikings undefeated. I just get pissed hearing how fans think we are going to the Super Bowl. You are also one injury away from missing the playoffs. It is a long season, sit back and enjoy the ride, unless your team is in the basement. Then just hold on to that little glimmer of....hope.

Raw 10-19

I have surpassed the Undertakers Wrestlemania Streak. You are reading the 21st straight week of Monday Night Raw blog. I know I am patting myself on the back. I dont care. I believe it is pretty impressive and want to thank BBSD for letting me continue the streak and hopefully we can make it even farther than 52 weeks in a row. Now last week I was a little harsh on the WWE, but it was a horrible show. Tonight, Snoop Dog puts down the blunt and fills in as the General Manager for Raw. He was part of Wrestlemania a year ago so I guess he makes sense. He also has no clue about wrestling which is why he is perfect for the GM of Raw. Tonight maybe the final night Cena is on Raw and he faces The Game Triple H. I love the match and hope it gets a lot of time to develop. I am not real excited for the pay per view, lets see if Raw can change my mind.

No pyro or even intro, we get Justin Roberts introducing us to Snoop Diggy Dogg. I swear if Cole is going to be talking hizzle tonight, I might mute my tv. Bella twins out with Snoop. He starts to about how excited he is hosting Raw. He makes Orton vs Ted Dibiase. I am cool with that. Snoop also makes HBK vs my boy Chris Jericho. Here come the Raw team captains Degeneration X. HHH talks about how when Snoop is around white guys try to talk like Snoop. Shawn starts it and HHH uses it a little as well. You hear that Cole, you are white don't use hizzle shizzle or any of that crap the rest of the night. DX start to breakdown the Smackdown team. They make fun of all the competitors. I agree Smackdowns team is so weak. I was reading reports that HBK and HHH love Drew and HBK talks well about Drew McIntyre. HBK even calls him a future champion. I guess the reports are true. The members of Raw come down to the ring. No chance Raw team loses with DX as the captains. Cody Rhodes, Swagger, Henry, Kingston, Show and DX. A great team assembled for Raw. HBK goes down the line talking about each member. DX get to Cody Rhodes and HBK doesn't even say his name. Cody says he might just beat Smackdown by himself. Well besides Y2J, Cody probably could beat Smackdown. Show gets in Rhodes face and tells him he will take him or anyone else out. Henry gets in Shows face now until Swagger interrupts. Kofi intervenes and talks about how this is what Smackdown wants. HHH asks him where Kofi's accent went. I had to laugh at that. HHH talks about a 5 on 5 tune up match for his members of Raw. If one of them gets beat by one of their opponents he will take his spot. I like that idea.

Show, Rhodes, Henry, Kofi and Swagger vs MVP, Bourne, Primo, Masters and Chavo. The only guy I could see is MVP. Kofi with Chavo in the ring as Raw comes back on the air. DX watching on in the back. Kofi gaining momentum and Show and Henry tag at the same time. Rhodes gets in with MVP who got the tag from Chavo. MVP taking it to Chavo. The high flying Evan Bourne in now with Rhodes. Crossbody by Bourne but Rhodes rolls through for 2 count. Primo in with a Russian leg sweep on Rhodes. Cross Rhodes on to Primo but Swagger tags himself in for the 3 count. Team Raw starts beating the hell out of each other. The only one walking out is Big Show. This is the only way Smackdowns team will look like it has a chance. Make Raws team look like its breaking down and can't work together. Raw's team may not look like a cohesive unit but it will still win at the Pay Per View.

Backstage interview with Dibiase. He talks about how Orton would have done the same thing last week when Teddy pinned Orton. Orton walks in and gets in Dibiase's face. Teddy asks him if Orton would have done the same thing. Orton says the match up next will not take place and Dibiase will show Orton the respect he deserves. If Ted does lay a finger Orton might kick him out of Legacy. I love what we are seeing here. Ted has the potential to be a huge star. Slowly turn him face and he will become a main eventer sometime next year.

Here we go Teddy is in the ring contemplating on what he will do. The WWE Champion Randy Orton with his slow stalking like entrance. He had a nice stare towards Teddy before coming to the ring. Cole asks Lawler what he would do if he was Teddy but Lawler doesn't answer. Bell sounds and Teddy and Randy get nose to nose. Orton kicks Teddy in the gut and he goes to one knee but gets up. Come on fight Dibiase. Orton with a european uppercut. Fans start a Teddy chant. Orton gets in his face telling him to 'don't even think about it'. Teddy finally gets off the mat and gets in Randy's face. Crowd is weighting for Dibiase to hit Orton. This is great. Teddy won't do it tonight. This should be phase one of Dibiase going face. Orton shoves Teddy in the ropes and Teddy shoves Orton to the mat. Crowd is getting real hot now. Teddy starts to calm down in the middle of the ring now though. Orton just stares towards Dibiase. Randy lifts Teddy's head up and hits the RKO for the 3. I loved that segment to a T. Teddy got the fans behind him and thats what the WWE wanted to know. Teddy will turn but I hope the WWE continue to tease us. Remember Evolution when it took Batista a long time to turn face. I want the WWE to do that with Dibiase.

A great tribute video to Capt Lou Albano. He was a great man and I am deeply saddened by hearing he past away. ShowStoppers is doing a tribute to Lou and to all managers by doing a top 5 list of the greatest managers of all time. I sent mine in as well. I am quite sure Lou will make Larry and Johns list. He certainly made mine. Check out ShowStoppers at 1pm on Tuesday afternoon to find out the list.

Hornswaggle in the back with Snoop Dogg and Chavo comes in. He says he wants to be part of Team Raw. Jillian comes in and wants a rematch. Santino walks in as Charlie Brown and starts to make Peanuts references. Snoop kicks them all out and well starts to smoke some weed. Well Raw goes to a technical difficulties sign. Raw comes back and Snoop broke out his scented candles.

A new Batista DVD is out now called I Walk Alone. I dont mind Batista but hes not one of my favorites because he is not a great technical wrestler. I am sure the DVD is good though. WWE always does a great job with their DVD products, aside from the Tag Team DVD out earlier this year. I hated it.

Could this be the last match on Raw for John Cena. I doubt it. Cena takes on HHH now. Lawler says this maybe the toughest match Cena has ever faced. Cena has been in a Hell in a Cell and an I Quit Match in the previous 2 matches. That is not including the 2 one on one Mania matches, 1 with who he faces tonight HHH and the other with HBK. Why does the WWE forget everything that happened except for the previous week on Raw? Michael Cole runs down everything Cena has been in, I didn't mention the Elimination Chamber match he was in as well. But no tonight is Cena's toughest match ever. Cena and HHH start out a little slow just getting a feel for each other right now. Cena with a hammerlock on HHH. The fans are back in forth with Cena chants and HHH chants. Hard whip into the turnbuckle by HHH for a 2 count. Cena is thrown into the other side now. Now a 3rd whip into the corner for another 2 count. HHH goes for the pedigree but Cena counters and whips HHH into the corner where HHH goes up and outside as Raw takes a break. Action was inside and outside during the break. We are back in the ring right now with HHH in control. Cena and HHH exchanging right hands in the middle of the ring. Cena getting the best of him. Cena hits one shoulder tackle but HHH ducked the other. FU attempted but a chop block, WOOOOO, slows Cena down. STFU try but HHH gets to the ropes. Cena with his fishermen suplex and tries a bulldog but HHH countered again. Pedigree reversed into the STFU in the middle of the ring. HHH is crawling towards the ropes. Cena breaks the hold and pulls HHH back to the middle of the ring. HHH wiggles out and nails a pedigree. 1,2.. foot on the bottom rope. Another break for Raw. HHH locks in the Sharpshooter. I hate anyone besides a Hart using the Sharpshooter. Somewhere Bret Hart is throwing up. Cena gets to the ropes. High knee to Cena as Cole tells us that is vintage HHH. This Raw blog tonight is vintage J Call. Spinebuster by the Game and goes for another pedigree. He hits and Cena kicks out. HHH has hit 2 pedigrees and still has not won the match. FU to HHH. He better kick out and he does. Damn right. Awesome match we are getting now on Raw. Crowd should be chanting 'This is Awesome'! Cena missed a top rope leg drop. Pedigree reversed to a FU countered to a pedigree for a 3 count. HHH and Cena just put on the best Raw match of the year. Now that is what I want to see more of on Raw. Heavy on the wrestling. Cena slow to get up but the faces shake hands in the middle of the ring. Great job by the WWE here. Make Cena look like he maybe on his way out off Raw. No way Smackdown gains Batista and Cena in little less than a month. Crowd on their feet as Cena leaves the ring. Good acting job Cena. You will be out first next Monday night holding the WWE title.

Not to keep plugging stuff on BBSD but if you want to know what is going to happen at Bragging Rights, then listen to ShowStoppers. Larry, John, Eric and I will all be giving our predictions. I have the Bragging Rights in the prediction department. I have went in the past 3 pay per views 21-3! That is simply staggering. As Larry said a few weeks ago on ShowStoppers I know more about the WWE then Vincent Kennedy McMahon. If you heard Shane is stepping down from the WWE. Well it is because I am replacing Shane as one of the new CEO's of the WWE.

Miz takes on a returning Marty Jannetty. The pop is not that great for Marty. Some back and forth action. Miz lands an huge inside out clothesline on Marty. Marty is in great shape yet. Crowd with a Marty chant. Back suplex on Miz. Back body drop by Marty and he starts to gain momentum, even hits a Lawler like fist drop. A little goof up towards the end and Miz takes advantage by picking up the victory with his skull crushing finale. I hate that name for his finisher. Miz change it to something cool. Well wait you are not cool, therefore your finisher can not be cool.

Diva title rematch from last week. Jillian vs Melina. Raw announces a 3 on 3 Raw vs Smackdown diva match for the ppv. Melina trips on the steps but still has the perfect entrance. Chavo distracts the ref. Jillian hits a samoan drop. Hornswaggle distracts Chavo and Melina wins the match. Hornswaggle has some street clothes on. Chavo grabs him and Snoop comes to the ring. Chavo throws Horn down and starts to shove D-O double G. Snoop a Loop hits a clothesline. Snoop and Chavo circle each other and Chavo goes for another clothesline but Snoop ducks. Snoop spears Chavo the hos er Divas come down to a dance party in the ring with Snoop and Hornswaggle. Actually Hornswaggle could dance but Michael Cole can't.

If you want a trip down memory lane check out Smackdown this Friday night. Lawler will be filling in for a newly wed Todd Grisham and will be at the announcer table with... GOOD OLE JR. JR and The King back together for one night only. WWE should never have broken them up cuz Cole sucks no matter what show he is on. JR and The King 2 Hall of Famers together on Friday night Smackdown. I gotta plug the WWE since I am going to be working for them soon.

The WWE never lets me down when it comes to putting together promo videos. An absolutely perfect RKO Cena rivalry video. The video showed clips from back in 07 all the way until now. Orton Cena has been a grea rivalry. A 1 hour anything goes iron man match to settle it once and for all. I hope it is a good match. Cole and Lawler rundown the ppv card in the ring. The reason they do it in the ring is because the live crowd can hear them then. The arena is not linked to the announcers table so in order to hear the card, Cole and Lawler must use the hand mics. I just thought I would let you know why they do that. 2 Nascar guys Kyle Busch and Joey whatever the hell his name is are going to Co GM Raw next week. Excuse me while I don't give a crap. Just more reason why I hate the celebrity GM's. I could rant about it but if you have read my previous Raw blogs (you should) you would know I hate the Celebrity GM's. Hey look I write a Raw blog each and every week for the past 21 weeks in a row. I am a semi Celebrity so I should be a GM for a night. Main event time:

Y2J Chris Jericho, my favorite wrestler right now, takes on the ShowStopper Shawn Michaels. Jericho is on the mic talking to HBK that he has assembled a great Smackdown team that will beat team Raw. Cryme Tyme comes out from the audience. Its a Smackdown take over. Kane heads down the other side of the audince with Ziggler and Escobar and Drew McIntyre. Team Smackdown is in the ring waiting for Raw team members. Team Raw head towards the ring. We are going to have a prelude to the ppv right now. 7 on 7 in the ring and who will throw the first punch? Crowd chanting for DX. HHH congratulates Jericho. HHH says the entire Raw roster can agree on one thing and that is they dont like him, his team or the show. Vicki is on the rampway now. Vicki orders team Smackdown out of the arena right now. HHH throws the first punch to Jericho. Chris is tossed over the announcers table. Its a pure six brawl with 14 men as Raw goes off the air. I like the ending because it finally gives me a reason to give a crap about the Raw vs Smackdown match. No matter what though team Raw will not lose. They have a lot more big name players. In the end it just doesn't matter what the WWE does the Raw team will come out on top.

Raw was a solid effort tonight. Cena and HHH had a match that was good enough to be labeled as the best match on free tv so far this year. I hope to write an NFL blog later in the week. I apologize for not doing my NFL picks any longer. My NFL blog later in the week will not be a pick blog but more of an insight on a few things I have liked and disliked about several teams in the league. I hope you enjoyed my Raw blog and continue because after 21 weeks in a row, you know I am just getting started. WOOOO! Make sure to listen to ShowStoppers as well.
